Check out this sweet sleeper! It's soft, thick and cozy - printed with environmentally friendly water-based ink and gold foil highlights. Hot Notes was a 1941 Flora illustration for Shillito's Department Store in Cincinnati, Ohio.It appeared in the music section of the store's monthly promotional brochure, "Shillito's Enthusiast." Perhaps the earliest known artifact of Flora's pre-Columbia Records commercial freelance work. 100% combed cotton. 1x1 rib; contrast at lap shoulders and cuffs; snap closure for a diaper friendly fit; yarn-dyed stripe at leg openings.
